As to what happened to this child I do not know
Did she survive the fangs of malnutrition ? Does she now have a family of her own ? Did she suffer the tyranny of the militia ? Was she raped, abused or laundered ?
Perhaps she was adopted by a lonely rock star or did she fall prey to the aimlessness of genocide ? - with the hope of being let off lightly, without the blessing of hands or feet.

... now answer me this question. World stats: Today, across the world, 1.3 billion people live on less than one dollar a day; 3 billion live on under two dollars a day; 1.1 billion have no access to clean water; 2.4 billion have no access to sanitation; 2 billion have no access to electricity

I found this picture whilst listening to the song Rape of the World by Tracy Chapman. Its an amazingly captivating photograph. Its a shame that we dont know what happened to this beautiful child. I think its a great way to spread a really important message. Keep doing what your doing. x
